Working for a company that invents entire categories and industries means you'll be challenged to creatively apply your deep legal expertise to rare and often unexplored aspects of the law. \\n\\nAs Senior Privacy Counsel you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team on privacy issues impacting Apple's business and products globally. You will work directly with business and engineering teams to design innovative privacy solutions for products as well as across the legal department on Apple activities and regulatory issues. You will be responsible for advising and providing support on privacy related aspects for Apple's various products and services and work alongside legal, engineering and business teams. This role will be onreport through the Privacy Legal team that supports privacy product counseling for Apple's services businesses. You will directly support Apple advertising and services marketing teams group and will work closely with our privacy policy colleagues in helping advise the business and engineering teams on cutting-edge privacy issues. Deep understanding of general privacy laws, regulations, requirements and industry best practices.\\nAdvising the business on legal, regulatory, and business standards.\\nSupporting and monitoring a privacy program, as needed, to ensure that technology and business processes meet applicable legal requirements.\\nCoordinating internal and external investigations, compliance reviews and monitoring activities.\\nIdentifying and communicating potential risks areas with leadership.\\nStaying informed of and properly communicating any changes to or developments in privacy laws, regulations, standards, and guidance. 8+ years professional legal experience advising on privacy laws\\nKnowledge of comprehensive privacy laws, and regulatory and other guidance and standards\\nDeep understanding of US state and federal sector-specific privacy laws\\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with senior leaders, teammates, and cross-functional colleagues\\nAble to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications\\nExperience quickly issue-spotting, analyzing, and clearly communicating privacy advice on complex legal issues\\nExperience drafting and negotiating privacy related contracts\\nStrong analytics capability with attention to detail \\nJD or equivalent with 4-10 years experience in privacy and admission to at least one US state bar. Experience providing strategic and practical advice to product, business, and engineering teams\\nExperience in the ad tech space\\nExperience advising on regulatory compliance and inquiries\\nAbility to lead, take action, and provide direction in the face of ambiguity\\nAbility to get results in diverse, fast paced environments
