Job Description

Production Scheduler / Planner Global Manufacturing Company | Career Growth Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler / Planner to join our growing manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable global company with multiple manufacturing facilities and strong long term career growth potential. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background with proven MRP/ERP experience, preferably within automotive or high volume manufacturing environments. This position offers the opportunity to grow into the Production Manager role as part of our continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements Coordinate production priorities with manufacturing, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, and customer service teams Utilize MRP/ERP systems to manage production planning, material flow, and inventory levels Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed to support customer demands and operational efficiency Analyze labor, capacity, and material constraints to optimize production performance Work closely with plant leadership to improve scheduling accuracy and operational effectiveness Communicate schedule changes, production priorities, and critical issues across departments Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, inventory management, and manufacturing operations Prepare production reports and performance updates for management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred 5+ years of production scheduling, planning, or manufacturing operations experience Strong MRP/ERP systems experience required Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred Experience in high volume manufacturing environments preferred Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced manufacturing environment Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business systems
