Our client, a growing privately-held flooring manufacturer in the Dalton, GA area, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join its accounting team. With 50% growth this year and continued expansion expected, the company requires a dedicated professional skilled in NetSuite ERP to manage and enhance project-focused accounting operations.
What:
The Senior Project Accountant will oversee project-based accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and reporting. This role involves hands-on work with NetSuite and requires a well-rounded accounting background, particularly in manufacturing or similar industries.

Salary:
Up to $100,000 base salary Discretionary bonus Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision (MDV), 401(k), Health Savings Account (HSA) with Aetna Paid time off with two weeks of vacation and standard holidays
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute project accounting activities, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting, utilizing NetSuite ERP. Collaborate with project management teams to develop financial forecasts, monitor progress, and ensure accurate project-related financial outcomes. Oversee compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, maintaining accurate and timely records within NetSuite. Provide detailed financial analyses and insights to support project decision-making and cost management. Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring project accounting entries are complete and accurate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on project-based accounting in manufacturing or a similar environment NetSuite ERP expertise is required Solid understanding of GAAP principles and hands-on experience with AP/AR, general ledger, and cost accounting Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
