Our Rochester Hills, MI location is seeking a Senior Project Manager Specialist to join our team. Are you ready to shape the future with us?THE POSITION
Senior Project Manager Specialist, OESL Automotive USA LLC, Rochester Hills, MI:
Derive project objectives such as financial, scheduling and quality goals. Plan and negotiate project core team members in alignment with the line management. Establish adequate project organization (meeting structure, information and knowledge exchange, documentation, and archiving). Track the project progress, define corrective measures if deviating from the project plan. Control the usage of the released project budget and project resources per approved project plan. Decide and report the overall project status in accordance with the defined KPIs supported by a valid tool and process set. Install and perform change management. Represent project in stakeholders (internal and external) meetings. Negotiate changes and claims with the customer based on change management. Lead the team members functionally. Actively manage stakeholder expectations, inform and involve stakeholders on a regular basis and in an appropriate manner. Act and compel colleagues to behave as ambassadors for Quality and Safety. Innovate or create solutions to support our corporate sustainability strategy. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week. Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Business Administration and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in each of the following: Work as a project manager, or leadership experience in the area of Project Management, or Subproject Leader/Technical Project Leader of new product introduction and relocation products. Application of project management procedures, methods and tools such as Waterfall, Critical Path, and Agile. Lead projects using Project Management techniques including Opportunity and Risk Management. Performing financial impact analysis and reporting of a project to determine recovery plans. Establishing and managing project documentation along with analyzing and monitoring the objectives and project progress. Industry standards such as rubber hose, blow molding, injection molding, assembly, testing, processes, rules, and decision-making structures. Managing MS Project and Planisware software. Project leadership and functional leadership of a team with the minimum size of 6 employees from different disciplines. Coaching techniques such as Conflict Management. Working with international teams to support projects that utilize imported components. Domestic travel required up to 15%, International travel required up to 5%.
