We are actively seeking a Senior Accountant with strong property accounting experience to join a collaborative and fast-paced team supporting a residential real estate portfolio. Responsibilities Manage and reconcile the general ledger in accordance with GAAP Lead month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial statements, reports, and account analyses Handle full-cycle property accounting using Yardi Serve as the main point of contact for Yardi administration and troubleshooting Monitor cash activity, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting Process mortgage payments, real estate taxes, and vendor payments Oversee Accounts Payable and weekly disbursements Process bi-weekly payroll through ADP Manage tenant accounting including deposits, refunds, and collections Review leases and analyze financial impact Partner with external CPA firms for tax preparation and compliance Prepare 1099s and assist with year-end reporting Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls Support junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience required Property accounting or real estate industry experience strongly preferred Hands-on experience with Yardi required Experience processing payroll through ADP Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Experience working in a small to mid-sized company environment preferred CPA required or CPA-track strongly preferred Why Join?
