Senior QA Performance Test Engineer Tricentis qTest & NeoLoad

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Performance Test Engineer with expertise in Tricentis qTest, NeoLoad, and performance testing methodologies. This role will be responsible for managing performance testing activities, administering qTest environments, analyzing application performance, and supporting enterprise-scale testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools, test management platforms, and performance analysis across web, API, and cloud-native environments. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Tricentis qTest projects, including user management, roles, permissions, and access configurations. Manage test case repositories, test cycles, releases, and defect tracking activities within qTest. Support teams with qTest configuration, troubleshooting, and governance best practices. Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects using qTest Manager. Generate and publish test execution dashboards and reports using qTest Insights. Perform end-to-end performance testing activities including requirement analysis, planning, scripting, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Tricentis NeoLoad and OctoPerf. Review business requirements, non-functional requirements (NFRs), and SLAs to define performance acceptance criteria. Execute load, stress, endurance, and spike testing based on application and business requirements. Design performance test scenarios aligned with application workflows and business transactions. Analyze test results, server statistics, and performance bottlenecks using monitoring and APM tools. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. Prepare detailed performance testing reports, findings, recommendations, and benchmark comparisons. Support performance tuning, retesting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to performance testing strategy, workload modeling, risk management, and estimation activities. Required Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on experience in QA and performance testing. Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis qTest administration and support. Strong experience with performance testing tools including NeoLoad, JMeter, BlazeMeter, and OctoPerf. Expertise in performance testing analysis, including bottleneck identification, server statistics analysis, tuning recommendations, and reporting. Experience with performance testing planning activities including strategy development, workload modeling, estimation, and risk management. Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and performance testing concepts. Experience defining and validating NFRs, SLAs, KPIs, and percentile-based performance metrics. Experience with web and API performance testing. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, and AWR. Experience with cloud-native monitoring solutions including AWS CloudWatch and Azure Monitor. Familiarity with Tricentis Tosca. Experience integrating performance testing within CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to AWS and Azure cloud environments.
