What you will do:

TheSrSolar PV Design Engineeris responsible fordesigning and developing constructionready documentation for utilityscale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems of5-50MW or larger. This role focuses on delivering highquality electrical system designs, layout drawings, and engineering analyses that support bidding, permitting, and construction. The engineer collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure codecompliant, efficient, and reliable PV systemdesigns, andserves as the electrical engineer of record (EEOR). Design and engineer utilityscale solar PV and energy storage (BESS) systems at5-50MW or higher. System layout of modules and equipment. Equipmentselectionand specification development. Oneline and threeline diagrams. DC, LVACand MVAC cable sizing and routing. SCADA and communication system design.

Relay&communicationprogramming:

SEL 651, 751, 735,&RTAC.

Grounding system design. Wiringdiagrams,trenchdesign, and basic pole design. Engineering studies, including, but not limited toarcflash, coordination, grounding, thermal ampacity,lightning risk assessment. Prepare complete construction drawings using AutoCAD. Coordinate with clients, utilities,permittingauthorities, contractors, andpartneringengineering firms. Support Construction Administration activities, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site visits. Manage multiple projects effectively and ensuretimelydelivery of engineering outputs.

What you will bring:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. 5-7+ years of experience designing commercial and/or utilityscale solar PV systems. Experience collaborating with construction, technical, and nontechnical teams. Minimum 3 years of handson experience with AutoCAD, including layer control, dimensioning, scaling, sheet sets, blocks, xrefs, line weights, and file management. Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) license required Proficiency with AutoCAD (or similar CAD platforms). Proficiency with power system design and modeling software (e.g., Etap, CYMCAP, Win

GIS, PSCAD, PSS/E, CDEGS

). Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and design tools.
