SENIOR STAFF CIVIL ENGINEER

CONCORD, MA
The Concord Public Works (CPW) Engineering Division, a recognized leader in municipal engineering in the Commonwealth, is seeking a highly motivated professional to join a high-performing team undertaking rewarding work involving transportation, civil, and environmental engineering. The scope of this position includes engineering technical reviews, roadway design and rehabilitation, drainage system design, park, cemetery, and facility design, and project management. CPW's Engineering Division consists of six professional staff with full AutoCAD and survey capabilities. CPW utilizes state-of-the-art technology in a modern work environment while managing, designing, and constructing exciting infrastructure improvement projects and programs in Concord. This position requires the equivalent of a BS in Civil Engineering or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience. EIT required, PE preferred. Candidates must be team players, dependable, and motivated.
Starting salary range:
$85,259.20 to $101,892.64 per year ($40.99 to $48.99 per hour) , plus paid leave, health, dental, and vision insurance, and pension benefits. Starting salary is based on qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position. Applications will continue to be accepted until filled. Appointment of the final candidate will be contingent upon the results of pre-placement conditions including criminal and motor vehicle record checks, a physical exam, and a drug screening. Costs for these pre-placement requirements will be borne by the Town.
