An established structural engineering consulting firm with a strong regional presence is seeking a Senior Structural Project Manager to join its growing practice. Commercial and institutional buildingsIndustrial and utility‑related structuresRenovations, evaluations, and retrofit projectsStructures requiring advanced analysis or phased construction coordinationThis is a full‑time, in‑office leadership role, working closely with principals, project teams, and external stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as Project Manager and Engineer of Record on structural engineering projectsLead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executionPerform and oversee structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systemsReview and approve calculations, drawings, and specificationsCoordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and other design disciplinesMentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designersConduct site visits, field observations, and constructability reviewsSupport business development efforts including proposals and client presentationsUphold quality control standards and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulationsRequired QualificationsB.S. or M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institutionProfessional Engineer (PE) license required5+ years of structural engineering experience, including project management responsibilityExperience leading projects and interfacing directly with clientsStrong background in steel and concrete design (exposure to industrial or complex projects a plus)Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (e.g., RISA, RAM, STAAD, Enercalc)Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or RevitExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects while maintaining technical quality and deadlinesCompensation & BenefitsThe firm offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, including:
