Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Aid & Billing Counseling Advise students and families on financial aid eligibility, application procedures, award packages, and related policies Assist with student billing inquiries, explain charges, and present payment plans and financial resources Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations in the review and processing of aid applications Outreach & Financial Education Represent the office at campus and community events, including orientations, financial aid nights, and information sessions Lead or support presentations and workshops focused on financial literacy, FAFSA completion, and billing topics Front Desk Coverage All Financial Services Counselors will rotate throughout the week to cover phone, email and walk-in traffic This position serves as the first point of contact for students, families, and campus partners Shift Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some Saturdays-events. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87-$20.00 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
