What You'll Do As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will lead complex accounting and tax engagements, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of deliverables while serving as a key technical resource for the team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to address sophisticated accounting and tax matters, provide guidance on planning and compliance, and support the development of team members through review, coaching, and mentorship. You will also play an active role in maintaining firm standards, improving processes, and contributing to overall team success. Lead complex accounting engagements, including oversight of month-end close processes and resolution of advanced accounting matters Review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns while applying relevant tax regulations Conduct tax research and translate findings into client-specific guidance and recommendations Support advanced tax planning and advisory engagements to drive value for clients Serve as a trusted advisor and primary escalation point, clearly communicating complex accounting and tax matters Proactively identify client risks, opportunities, and process improvements Review work prepared by Accountants and Staff Accountants, ensuring quality and adherence to firm standards Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to team members while supporting onboarding and training efforts Identify and implement process improvements, contributing to standardization, documentation, and firm initiatives What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of combined accounting and tax experience with increasing responsibility Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations Advanced proficiency in accounting and tax software Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and sound professional judgment High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly What We Offer Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (Coverage begins on the first of the month following your start date.)
