- this is the place. About the Role We are looking for a confident, self-directed tax professional who can own their work independently, communicate well with clients, and grow into greater responsibility over time. What You'll Do
- Independently prepare individual, business, partnership, and S-corp tax returns with minimal supervision
- Complete routine tax engagements from start to finish with high-quality output
- Collaborate with supervisors on more complex engagements and special projects
- Communicate directly with clients regarding data requests, deadlines, and deliverables
- Maintain proficiency in CCH Axcess Tax and PFX Engagement
- Manage competing priorities to consistently meet client deadlines What You Bring Required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2-5 years of tax experience in public accounting
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting and taxation concepts
- Proficiency in CCH Axcess Tax and/or PFX Engagement
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently Preferred / Nice to Have
- CPA or EA licensure (or actively in progress) Location & Work Arrangement This role is open to candidates located anywhere in Texas. The firm actively recruits across Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Abilene, El Paso, and surrounding markets. Compensation & Benefits $80,000
