  • Cross-Functional Collaboration o Interface regularly with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Fabrication team members to align on project scope, timelines, and production requirements.
o Attend pre-production meetings to review build strategies, identify potential issues, and ensure alignment between teams. o Coordinate with the Field Ops team to incorporate lessons learned and ensure field-readiness of designs.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship o Serve as a mentor and technical reviewer for junior designers, offering guidance on best practices, accuracy, and documentation control. o Conduct design reviews and peer-checks to ensure clarity, structural logic, and compliance with fabrication standards. o Contribute to training materials, onboarding documentation, and departmental improvement efforts.
  • Project & Documentation Oversight o Own full design packages from concept development to final fabrication release, ensuring timely delivery and version control.
o Ensure all files follow proper naming conventions, server storage protocol, and revision/archiving procedures. o Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and priorities.
