Project Details:
Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about HR technology, HR processes, HR digitalization, and innovation--and the impact these have on people's daily work. They're seeking someone who enjoys making a difference, seeing their ideas come to life, and delivering solutions that directly help others. If you have solid Workday implementation and optimization experience and are interested in working on international projects with global teams, this could be a great fit. This is a newly created position within a growing HRIT team that focuses on the strategy, digitalization & transformation, design, implementation, and support of global HR solutions.The Role & Responsibilities:
This individual will be part of the HRIT team and primarily responsible for Workday HR process implementation, optimization, and support. Current processes in scope include HCM, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Time & Absence, Learning, Recruiting, Onboarding, Expenses, and Payroll integrations. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and map Workday solutions to best meet those needs. The position is functionally focused, partnering with both functional team members and Workday technical experts to deliver end-to-end solutions. The team is looking for someone who not only has strong functional Workday expertise, but who also brings a collaborative and personable approach. They need someone who will integrate well with the team, build strong relationships across stakeholders, and effectively partner within a global environment. This role also requires someone who is hands-on with Workday configuration and able to guide, mentor, and teach others across the organization on best practices and functionality. Translate business information requirements/processes into IT Solutions with the goal to support the business in its daily operations. Deliver, implement, and maintain the created IT Solutions. Solve and close incidents according to severity.Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with HR and business stakeholders to define new requirements in Workday.
- Implementation of new Workday functionalities and optimization of existing ones, in collaboration with partners and other involved teams.
- Taking part in HR Transformation projects, utilizing Workday and the HRIT landscape to support automation, digitalization, and a simplified user experience.
- Identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions in line with optimization possibilities and Workday product development roadmaps.
- Ensuring delivery of Workday releases, overseeing their impact on the organization, and managing communication and training related to new functionalities or changes.
- Providing guidance, training, and support to ensure Workday is used effectively and correctly across the organization.
- Supporting the business with resolution of Workday issues and new requests.
- Hands-on configuration across Workday modules including business processes, Core HCM, security, and reporting.
- Managing and/or auditing Workday security roles and permissions.
- Partnering with team members and helping train or mentor others on Workday functionality and processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Workday HR functional experience (Core HCM, business processes, security, reporting)
- Strong hands-on Workday configuration experience
- Workday Security experience is required
- 5+ years HRIT experience
- Proven global Workday implementation experience in multinational environments
- Strong business analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and leadership
- Ability to train, guide, and support other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of solid Workday HR functional experience, proven through international Workday projects.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the HRIT area.
- Master's degree/ BA in Business, HR, Information Systems, or a related field is beneficial.
- Proven experience delivering global Workday implementations within a multinational company.
- Strong business analysis, listening, and solution design skills.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and multinational teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong English skills, both written and verbal.
- Process-oriented, well-organized, and attentive to quality and detail.
- Ability to work independently and lead change initiatives or smaller project implementations.
