Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Septic Pumping Technician with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various heavy-duty trucks and equipment to perform septic system pumping, maintenance, and repair services. Your expertise in mechanical systems, driving large trucks, and handling waste management tasks will ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, engage with customers directly, and develop your skills in septic system maintenance and commercial driving. Duties Operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to perform septic pumping and waste removal services. Load and unload equipment, tanks, and waste materials safely using mechanical knowledge and proper lifting techniques. Drive CDL-equipped trucks across diverse routes to service residential, commercial, or industrial clients. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and pumping equipment to ensure optimal operation. Assist with the manual handling of septic tanks, pipes, and related components during service calls. Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting, waste handling, and vehicle operation to prevent accidents or environmental hazards. Maintain detailed records of service activities, vehicle logs, inspection reports, and customer interactions. Qualifications Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to truck operation and septic system components. Experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds or tractor-trailers is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly throughout the workday in a safe manner. Strong driving skills with experience in commercial driving environments and delivery routes. Prior experience as a delivery driver or in waste management services is a plus. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and waste handling regulations.
