Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Servers and Bartenders to join our dynamic team in a lively sports pub that has been around for over 30 years. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food and beverage service, strong communication skills, and the ability to create memorable experiences for guests. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. This position is paid and offers room for growth within our hospitality team. Duties Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring timely and friendly service Serve food and drinks with professionalism, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Operate POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and specialty drinks Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including bar stations, dining areas, and service stations Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments via POS systems and giving correct change Uphold hospitality standards during night shifts or special events such as nightclub nights or private parties Skills Proven experience in food service roles such as restaurant server, bartender, or banquet staff Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Experience in restaurants, bars, and nightclub environments is a plus Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments such as food industry establishments or hospitality venues Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members effectively Join our team to deliver outstanding service in a vibrant setting where your skills can shine.
