Server Job DescriptionTideline Ocean Resort & Spa The Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to resort guests while creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced resort environment. Essential Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and provide attentive, friendly, and professional service Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring quality standards are met Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, wine, cocktails, and resort offerings Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests efficiently Assist with table maintenance, resetting dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness standards Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure smooth operations Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures Qualifications Previous restaurant or resort serving experience preferred Excellent communication and guest service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Basic computer and POS system knowledge with assistance as needed Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time Must be able to lift and carry at least 45 pounds Must be able to bend, climb, and reach overhead or extended distances Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be comfortable performing repetitive movements throughout the shift Work Environment This position may involve indoor and outdoor service areas in a luxury oceanfront resort setting. Candidates must be able to work efficiently in warm weather conditions and maintain exceptional guest service standards throughout their shift.
