Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment Handle cash transactions accurately with cash handling skills and basic math proficiency; operate cashiering systems smoothly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food handling, and timely food preparation Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols in all food service activities Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering a positive atmosphere Assist with other duties such as host/hostess responsibilities or supporting nightclub operations during evening hours Requirements Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Experience with food industry tools such as OpenTable for reservations management Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where hospitality meets excellence!
