This energetic role combines quick, efficient food service with attentive cashiering duties and also pouring wine for runners at weekends , ensuring every guest feels welcomed and satisfied. You'll manage sales transactions using advanced POS systems, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. There will be some light wine pouring and handing beers out in cans with orders. counter service order and food will be served to the tables. There will be in support to this role. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, providing menu recommendations and upselling items to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Square POS for smooth cash handling and sales processing Manage cash register transactions efficiently, ensuring correct change and receipt issuance while maintaining accountability Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to sanitation protocols Skills Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants with a strong understanding of restaurant operations Proficiency with POS systems such as Square POS. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create positive guest interactions Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Familiarity with serving in a café or retail environment within the food industry enhances your ability to succeed Looking for the right fit for our fast casual bistro in beacon.
