Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation. Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while catering to guest preferences. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Support opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up stations and cleaning work areas. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous. Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and food handling regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Culinary experience or kitchen background enhances your ability to understand menu items and food preparation processes.
