JOB SUMMARY

The Server is responsible for providing attentive, courteous service to all customers/guests. The position calls for the employee to serve the guests/customers and be responsible for charging for the businesses services and collecting payments.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent organization and time management skills. Minimum 2 years experience as a Bar Tender Minimum 1 year experience as a Server Ability to operate restaurant computer system (POS) Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, co-workers and managers. Ability to read all food orders Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Serve-Safe Training or Equivalent Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures as outlined in serve-safe manual Knowledge of proper handling, storage of food items. Problem solving skills

Participate in all-employee meetings, events and other functions required by management. Be familiar with all policies and restaurant/hotel rules. Develop full understanding of hotel amenities and services. Understand emergency procedures and be prepared to help when necessary. Distribute or tabulate any work as outlined by management.

Perform any other duties as requested by management.
