Job Description

Help Wanted:
Dishwasher/Server We run a family owned fly fishing lodge in Divide, Montana and we are in search of another employee to help dishes and serving. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hard-working, had a good work ethic and a positive attitude. This position will be to fill in as necessary to assist the chef and kitchen staff with daily and general kitchen duties. Experience as a server or dishwasher is not necessary but is a plus and willing to train the right candidate. Note that this role requires working in shifts, including evenings and weekends. Ultimately, you'll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our customers.

Job Requirements:
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to commute to and from work.
  • Detail oriented, organized, communicative, and always punctual for scheduled shifts. Attention to detail.
  • Able to lift 30 and 40 pounds; can remain standing/on feet for extended periods of time
  • bend and kneel to perform cleaning duties
  • SERV Safe Certification (Can be completed online at work) Duties will include but not limited to:
  • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
  • Load and unload the dishwasher
  • Wash specific items by hand (e.g. Wooden cutting boards, large pots
  • Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
  • Set up workstations before meal prep begins
  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
  • Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within the time limit
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
  • Taking customers' food and drink orders
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff for prompt and correct order delivery.
  • Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
  • Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
  • Set tables and rearrange the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the seating area for special events
  • Ensure the cooking utensils and the kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
  • Maintain equipment in good condition
  • Report on any shortages or damages
  • Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws.
