Full Job Description Position Overview:

The Drop In is looking for a reliable and guest-focused Server Assistant/Busser/Host to join our team. This role is essential to delivering a seamless and welcoming experience for every guest. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with a team, and takes initiative to anticipate guest and service needs. In this dynamic role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring seamless service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with guest needs. Availability Requirement:

Must be available to work weekend mornings .

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly as they arrive and help create a welcoming atmosphere Ensure all tables are promptly provided with water upon seating Assist servers with maintaining table flow and guest satisfaction Bus and reset tables efficiently to support smooth service Run food to tables accurately and in a timely manner Manage and maintain the waitlist, communicating clearly with guests about timing Take and process to-go orders Monitor the dining room to ensure all guests are attended to and needs are met Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house

Qualifications:

Previous experience in serving, food running, or a similar role highly recommended Enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay organized and multitask under pressure Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during busy shifts.
