Server (Breakfast/Lunch ONLY)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and drink orders accurately using the OpenTable system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times. Skills Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Proficiency in using OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred. Basic culinary knowledge to assist with menu recommendations and food preparation understanding. Experience with cash register operations for accurate transaction processing. Excellent guest services skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Ability to upsell menu items through persuasive communication techniques. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on enhancing the dining experience. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
