Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be the friendly face that guides guests through their meal, ensuring exceptional service from start to finish. You must be enthusiastic, knowledgeable about food, fine dining, craft cocktails, and wine . We are a very small farm to table restaurant where the menu changes every day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality expertise while delivering outstanding guest experiences. Pay is $2.14/ hr plus tips. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast- experience preferred Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details and wine pairings, to answer guest questions confidently Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during service and food handling Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Manage cash handling transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using Toast Must have at least 2 years of fine dining experience and be at least 21 Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of toast preferred; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances your ability to assist guests effectively Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable for seamless guest interactions Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes Experience with food industry tools such as POS systems, cashiering, and restaurant operations Join us in creating vibrant dining environments where guests feel valued and cared for.
