Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system. Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and recommendations. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Sanitate tables and dining areas between guests to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Assist in food preparation as needed during peak hours to support kitchen operations. Uphold fine dining standards by adhering to proper etiquette and service protocols. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables simultaneously. Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures is highly desirable. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
