Job Summary:

The Server at Latitude is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by providing a warm and welcoming dining experience during service. Reporting to the Latitude General Manager or Food & Beverage Manager, this role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable meal for all guests. The Server plays a key role in setting the tone for the guest experience each morning, offering attentive service in a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. Position will support the pool service during peak seasons.

Part-Time Pay Rate:

$7.25/hr plus tips. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors, including experience and skill level.

Responsibilities Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring an exceptional breakfast and brunch experience. Greet guests warmly, present menus, and offer recommendations based on dietary preferences. Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and modifications are properly communicated to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining attention to detail and presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining spaces. Assist with table setups, refilling beverages, and delivering additional items as needed. Process guest payments accurately using the POS system. Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring compliance with food handling guidelines. Participate in pre-shift meetings to review service expectations, daily specials, and operational updates. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of breakfast service, including coffee, tea, and morning cocktails, is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems and handling guest transactions. Professional demeanor, punctuality, and reliability. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
