As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maximizing sales through upselling and personalized interactions. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, establishing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS system (TOAST) Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, recommend specials, and upsell additional courses or beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness throughout their visit Qualifications Minimum of three years of server experience in fine dining or upscale food service environments Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and Toast e for reservations management Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively in a busy setting Experience with culinary techniques or kitchen experience is a plus but not required Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy; previous cashiering experience is advantageous Familiarity with upselling strategies to maximize sales opportunities during service
