Job Description
- This position requires both bartending and serving. Bartenders have a table section plus their bar area to tend to. Experience is necessary for this job
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Operate cash register and handle customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Provide excellent customer service by anticipating needs and promptly addressing any concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing methods, and mixology techniques
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and handling tips
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with retail math for inventory management and ordering supplies
