Server/Cashier

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server/Cashier, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator that ensures our guests have an exceptional dining experience. This role combines the art of attentive service with precise cash handling, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will contribute to our vibrant hospitality setting, whether in a fine dining restaurant or a bustling nightclub. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently with POS systems Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Use OpenTable or similar reservation platforms to manage guest seating efficiently Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Follow food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards in food service environments Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills are essential for cash handling Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or hospitality roles is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Basic knowledge of food industry standards and guest relations techniques Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences!
