As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks with a friendly demeanor. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for hospitality, good flexibility especially during high season, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system. Provide recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, addressing any requests or concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment. Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or peak service times. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory if you show initiative and passion. Familiarity with food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Excellent guest relations skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
