Babbitts Powersports is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Service Advisor with a passion for Powersports to join our team full time. Babbitts owns the industry in power sports, offering Arctic Cat, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha branded units. OEM parts and accessories. Full-Time, Nonexempt Position Summary The Service Writer plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by serving as the communication hub between customers and our service technicians. This position ensures that every repair order is accurate, every customer is informed, and every interaction reflects the professionalism and integrity of Babbitt's. All positions are subject to background checks and comprehensive drug screening. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring precise and timely communication. Facilitate all service-related transactions with accuracy and professionalism Prepare detailed service estimates and explain recommended repairs to customers Schedule and manage customer appointments to optimize shop workflow Create, update, and close work orders with precision and attention to detail Conduct or coordinate vehicle inspections and document findings Offers upgrades, additional services, and accessory sales during customer interactions. Communicate additional issues, safety concerns, or required repairs to customers promptly Maintain a working knowledge of common repairs, service processes, and product lines Uphold all safety standards and promote a safe working environment Maintains punctual and consistent attendance Support the Service Manager and team with additional tasks as needed to meet business demands Education & Experience Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license Must be able to pass a comprehensive drug screen Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure Proficiency with basic computer functions and service software Demonstrated qualities of diligence, honesty, courtesy, and self‑motivation Physical Requirements Ability to perform all essential job functions safely and effectively in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable standards Consistent and punctual attendance Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Clear and professional telephone communication skills Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods on concrete flooring Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance available. 401k retirement savings with a generous employer match Employee Purchase.   • Schedule will vary depending on business and weather. Average is 40 to 45 hours a week
