Job Description

The Service Billing Specialist is responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and maintaining billing records for all service-related activities. This role ensures invoices are generated in a timely manner, payments are properly tracked, and billing discrepancies are resolved efficiently to support the organization's financial health and deliver a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities Generate, review, and distribute invoices for service-related work, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Review service orders and contracts to confirm correct pricing, terms, and supporting documentation. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on past-due balances while maintaining detailed and accurate records. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with service, sales, and accounting teams. Process billing adjustments, credits, rebills, and corrections as required. Maintain accurate billing documentation to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Ensure billing activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations. Provide responsive and professional customer service when addressing billing inquiries or concerns. Work closely with Service Administrators to confirm the accuracy and completeness of service orders. Identify and support process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related field (service industry experience preferred). Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in billing and accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. •Salary commensurate with experience."
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
