As a Service Class C Technician you will be responsible for the basic maintenance of equipment. Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal mandated safety inspections in accordance with DOT requirements. Check fluid levels Perform Battery Maintenance Check and Change Oil as necessary Tire Maintenance to include checking the air and changing tires Remove decals and stickers on the equipment Create work orders in TMT Replacing lights, license plates, mudflaps, etc Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility Assist mechanics on skilled work like brake repairs Perform routine maintenance on trailers 2nd Shift - 2PM to 1030 AM Monday thru Friday, Weekends OFF!!! Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications 1 year of related service technician experience or certified from a technical school required High school diploma or GED Ability to read, write and speak English Basic math skills The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds Strong written and verbal communication skills Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
