Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service HVAC Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of HVAC systems and related equipment across various property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety standards are met. Responsibilities Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration units, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately troubleshoot issues. Conduct field service operations on HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and mechanical systems across multiple sites. Diagnose electrical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repairs or replacements as needed. Utilize welding techniques for repairs or fabrication of HVAC components when necessary. Maintain detailed records of service activities, inspections, repairs, and parts used for each job. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all service procedures. Skills Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles for effective troubleshooting and installation. Skilled in plumbing repairs, appliance repair, boiler maintenance, and property maintenance tasks. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems and understanding of HVAC/R safety practices. Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; capable of equipment repair and welding tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC system installation; familiarity with field service operations in various environments is a plus. Pay:
$25.92 - $38.00 per hour
