Hybrid Position Summary The Lesniak Institute for American Leadership, led by Senator Raymond Lesniak, is seeking a motivated Service Specialist Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning, networking, and proficiency in Google Suite. This role involves maintaining communication with local community and educational organizations, assisting in the planning and execution of events and service projects, and managing databases and email campaigns. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit management. Qualifications/Skills Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree Excellent oral and written communication skills, including professional emailing Proficient in Google Suite Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of current events and politics is preferred but not mandatory Duties and Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing events and service projects Develop and create advocacy training content Assist the Executive Director with a variety of tasks, including research, writing, and project management Prepare meeting minutes and agendas Communicate with supporters and community leaders through various channels (e.g., phone, email, social media)
