Service Technician

We are currently seeking a motivated full-time Service Technician that is looking to acquire, develop, and strengthen trade skills and is eager to establish themselves within a company that values fostering continued career growth. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining water treatment service for clients comprised of commercial and industrial buildings, as well as assisting in supporting everyday operations, completing deliveries throughout the Upstate NY territory and performing regular maintenance/organization of the warehouse. Role and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Responsible for service/testing/sampling of heating and cooling systems throughout the Albany, NY capital region
• Apply and manage chemicals needed to treat systems
• Provide and report any feedback of findings to the Service/Account Manager
• Complete required information on service orders and submit electronic reports
• Operate company vehicle to commute and make deliveries to and from job sites throughout the shift
• Drive company vehicle to make deliveries throughout Upstate NY
• Loading and unloading of material and equipment
• Prepare warehouse orders for pick up by third party carriers
• Organize the warehouse and perform general warehouse duties
• Assist with recording monthly inventory
• Picking up warehouse orders needed for a job site
• Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered on the job to supervisors
• Obtain NYS Pesticide License within 6 months (company paid)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proof of a valid driver's license, in good standing.
• CDL w/Hazmat Endorsement preferred (will be required within 18 months)
• Reliable, self-starter displaying a consistent work history in a field or service role (industrial or technical)
• Attention to detail and highly customer-focused
• Mechanical inclination; willingness to be hands-on
• Strong desire for long-term employment and industry training & development
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
