Competitive pay plans Flat rate and hourly technician opportunities available High-volume service department with consistent workflow Paid ongoing Ford and technical training Career advancement opportunities across multiple dealership locations State-of-the-art facilities and equipment Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Birthday off with pay Vehicle purchase plans Life insurance Technician Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Ford vehicles and other makes/models Diagnose and repair gasoline engine performance concerns Service steering, suspension, brake, and climate control systems Diagnose and repair electrical systems and powertrain control/emissions systems Perform automatic transmission diagnostics and repairs Utilize scanners, electrical diagnostic equipment, AC recovery machines, fluid exchange equipment, and lifts safely and effectively Stay current on evolving automotive technology, including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and self-driving vehicle technology Communicate repair recommendations and solutions clearly with management and team members Work closely with shop management to identify training and development opportunities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications Proven track record in automotive diagnostics and repair Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret schematics and flowcharts Safe working knowledge of automotive shop tools and diagnostic equipment Strong multitasking and time management skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable attendance and punctuality Valid driver's license required Must provide appropriate tools needed for service work performed Ford certification or dealership experience required Schedule Full-Time In-Person Position No Remote Work Available About Shults Ford Shults Ford is committed to creating a professional, team-oriented environment where employees can grow and succeed.
