Weston, FL Job Details Part-time $16 - $19 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Sewing Administrative experience Organizational skills Garment construction Teaching Full Job Description Overview The Petite Designers, Sewing and Fashion School for kids and teens is seeking a Sewing Instructor & Fashion Studio Coordinator. In this role, you will facilitate curriculum-based learning and ensure a well-organized, welcoming environment for both students and parents. The right candidate is enthusiastic to work with youth and excels in communication and coordination. This person will represent our program to visitors, oversee studio materials and documentation. Benefits Opportunity to expand sewing skills Potential for career growth and development Responsibilities Teach sewing to a group of 6-8 students, ages 7 and 17. Provide clear instruction on garment construction, from beginner to advanced levels Maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment tailored to students educational needs Manage administrative tasks, including attendance, new student forms and other documentation. Report studio needs and inventory updates to the manager Provide a positive experience for enrolled and introductory class students Foster respectful, professional communication with students and their parents Greet and assist walk-ins with a welcoming and professional attitude Skills Good sewing skills and technical knowledge of garment construction Teaching experience is a plus Excellent communication skills and a cheerful, outgoing personality Strong organizational skills and creative thinking
