  • Full-time We are seeking a compassionate, highly motivated professional to provide comprehensive services to individuals impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault.
This role is ideal for someone committed to advocacy, crisis response, and community engagement. Position Summary The Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Program Coordinator is responsible for delivering direct client services, supporting program development, and contributing to community awareness and outreach efforts. This position requires a strong ability to respond to crisis situations, manage multiple responsibilities, and work collaboratively with community partners. Key Responsibilities Provide on-call crisis response for domestic violence and sexual assault cases Deliver trauma-informed counseling and crisis intervention services Conduct client needs assessments and assist with individualized service planning Provide hospital advocacy for survivors Facilitate weekly support groups Maintain a caseload of both residential and non-residential clients Recruit, train, and supervise program volunteers Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary teams Develop and strengthen community partnerships and resources Support community education, outreach, and prevention initiatives Assist with grant reporting and data entry requirements Contribute to program development, implementation, and evaluation Oversee community awareness campaigns and prevention projects Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field Current professional license required Minimum of two (2) years of experience in direct services, victim services, and/or supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations and maintain professionalism under pressure Additional Requirements Valid Alabama driver's license with a clean driving record Proof of current automobile liability insurance Eligibility to work in the United States Ability to lift at least 20 pounds Application Requirements Interested candidates must submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.
