A&P License Preferred (Not Required) About the Role We are actively hiring experienced Sheetmetal Mechanics to join our aircraft maintenance team in Millington, TN. You will perform structural repairs and modifications on large commercial aircraft, including Boeing 737 fleets, Airbus, and ERJ platforms. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and immediate interview availability. Key Responsibilities Perform sheetmetal repair, fabrication, and installation on commercial aircraft fuselage, wings, and structural components Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and structural repair manuals (SRM) Remove, repair, and replace damaged aircraft skin panels, ribs, frames, and stringers Drill, rivet, and fasten structural components per manufacturer and FAA specifications Inspect completed repairs for quality, alignment, and airworthiness compliance Document all work in accordance with FAA and airline maintenance records requirements Coordinate with inspectors and team leads to ensure timely aircraft return to service Maintain a safe, clean, and FOD-free work environment Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of sheetmetal aircraft maintenance experience Experience working on large commercial aircraft (Boeing 737, Airbus A320 family, or ERJ series) Proficiency with sheetmetal tools including rivet guns, drill motors, and sheet metal brakes Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and structural repair manuals Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate — preferred but NOT required Experience with Boeing 737 structural repairs Familiarity with AMOS, TRAX, or similar MRO tracking systems Prior experience in an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility Compensation & Benefits $25.00-$40.00/hr based on experience and certifications Full-time, direct hire opportunity Competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement and additional certifications — we are conducting interviews immediately.
