This is a permanent opportunity for a hands-on leader who knows how to keep a plant running safely, cleanly, and efficiently. Overview:

Take charge of the personnel during your shift, making sure the facility stays clean, safe, and running at full capacity. Step in as the plant's point person whenever upper management is off-site. Hold your team accountable to company policies, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Get new shift personnel up to speed on plant procedures, safety protocols, and environmental expectations. Own the execution of critical safety programs including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and welding and cutting permits. Walk the floor regularly to catch issues before they become problems and confirm equipment is operating as it should. Handle the administrative side of supervision — timesheets, attendance records, performance reviews, disciplinary documentation, and incident reports. Log facility activity accurately and keep records up to date throughout each shift. Investigate accidents and near misses quickly and thoroughly alongside management. Operate forklifts, manlifts, skid steers, and other mobile equipment as the job demands. Build a culture where operations and plant staff work together and look out for one another.

Requirements:

Prior experience supervising personnel in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment. Solid understanding of plant safety programs including lockout/tagout and confined space entry. Familiarity with environmental compliance standards in an industrial setting. Ability to operate industrial mobile equipment including forklifts, manlifts, and skid steer loaders. Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable writing reports, logs, and correspondence. Natural leader who can motivate a team and hold people to a high standard.
