Shipping and Receiving

Pamarco is the Global Leader of anilox roll manufacturing and is the leading provider of superior and proven technology solutions for the printing, packaging, and converting industries worldwide. Pamarco's La Palma, CA location is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving position.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments
• Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all policies, customer requirements and federal/state/local regulations
• Unload and check items against freight bills, packing lists, or shipping notices and make notations of damages, shortages and other irregularities.
• Assists with physical inventories and counts
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Package finish product for Shipment-Domestic and Internationally
• Complete ship logs and other reports daily
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Minimum/basic skills & qualifications for this position:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to use basic measurement tools: calipers, micrometers
• Solid math skills; basic calculations to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, basic percent and fractions
• A commitment to team success through reliable attendance
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience with shipping via UPS and FEDX. Experience with Freight forwarders, various shipping lines, trucking companies and International Parcels is a plus.
• Attention to detail and results-driven approach to work
• Ability to interact with co-workers in a professional manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a very high level of accuracy.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimum supervision Required to work overtime as necessary.
