Receives and opens incoming products and materials Delivers firearms to appropriate areas Prepares products for shipment to include assembling cartons, boxes, and all packaging; wraps protective material around products; inserts products into containers; and fills containers with protective material Weighs and/or counts containers and adjusts quantity accordingly Tapes, straps, nails, glues, closes, and seals containers Labels containers, inventory items, and/or stocks products Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process Records information on needed documents to include count, weight, time, and date items were pulled and packaged Reads and documents serial and model numbers, bar codes, bill of ladings, etc. Enters product information and customer complaints in computer system Prints labels and confirmation letters Performs product inventory control in an efficient manner; maintains inventory area Operates forklift and other warehouse devices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED; supplemented by some shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes used to maximize the efficient and effective distribution of goods
• Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Ability to quickly learn the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of firearms
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
