Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Company Overview:

We are looking for an assertive, bilingual Shipping and Receiving Clerk with excellent communication skills, ready to start as soon as possible. You will be responsible for supporting shipping and receiving operations while providing exceptional customer service and clerical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments. Verify the accuracy of shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with company procedures. Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records using data management systems. Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers. Perform clerical support tasks, including managing documentation and filing. Answer and direct calls as a multiline phone operator Schedule pickups, deliveries, and coordinate with carriers Organize and maintain a clean shipping/receiving area. Proactively identify and resolve problems as they arise.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Assertive and self-motivated Available to start as soon as possible Data management skills Technical proficiency, including use of relevant software Strong organization and time management skills Customer service experience Clerical support abilities Problem-solving skills and attention to detail Multiline phone operation Scheduling experience Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred

Work Schedule:
