Shipping and Receiving Coordinator About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team. This unique role bridges the gap between hands-on warehouse logistics and strategic freight management. You will be the air traffic controller of our inventory—managing inbound raw ingredients, overseeing nationwide outbound distribution, and actively working on the floor to move materials, package, label, and prepare our products for safe transport. Thursday:

8:00 AM•5:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break)

Friday:

8:00 AM•12:00 PM (Friday afternoons off!)

Key Responsibilities Hands-On Packaging & Physical Logistics Material Movement:

Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to unload inbound shipments, stage raw ingredients, and load outbound trailers.

Packaging & Labeling:

Accurately label and box jars, and build/stack pallets with pails (ranging from 5 to 50 lbs) or jars while keeping pace with the production line.

Material Handling:

Regularly lift, maneuver, and stage materials and pails weighing up to 50 lbs.

Sanitation & Safety:

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks to maintain a spotless, safe food production environment adhering to strict quality protocols.

Freight Management & Logistics Coordination Inbound Logistics & Sourcing:

Procure, arrange, and manage freight carriers for incoming raw ingredients and packaging shipments from multiple vendors, prioritizing cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Outbound Freight:

Schedule, oversee, and track finished goods shipping and logistics for nationwide distribution.

Production Alignment:

Partner closely with production cooks and facility teams to ensure ingredient arrivals perfectly align with manufacturing schedules to prevent downtime.

Team Collaboration:

Work hand-in-hand with the broader production team to ensure schedules are met and facility standards are consistently exceeded.

Qualifications & Requirements Equipment Operation:

Proven experience safely operating a forklift and pallet jack (forklift certification is a major plus).

Attitude:

A strong work ethic, a positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to pivot between desk coordination and floor work.

Detail-Oriented:

Meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding labeling accuracy, data recording, and facility cleanliness.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to perform repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and thrive in a physical warehouse environment.

Experience:

Previous experience in freight management, logistics coordination, or a food manufacturing/production environment is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate on our specific logistics systems if you have the core warehouse and equipment skills.
