Job Description

POSITION
Shipping and Receiving COMPANY:
PolymerFilms About the role: The Shipping and Receiving role requires a self-motivated individual with the company's strategic intent in mind to dominate the plastics distribution industry. Your career will flourish as you are provided opportunities for development and mentored by some of the top industry leaders. What you'll do: Plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received from vendors Direct all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out in a timely fashion Process daily orders Perform accurate and timely physical counts related to warehouse productivity and inventory accuracy Ensure all shipping and receiving activity reports are prepared in a timely manner and effectively maintained Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, recommending improvements, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards Move inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouses Utilize shipment confirmation equipment, inventory management, and picking/packing/shipping of orders Load and unload trucks Handle customer pickups Adhere to production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards Comply with warehouse operations systems by adhering to product handling and storage requirements Perform other duties as assigned What you'll need: Ability to calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry Experience with Microsoft Office Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis Follow all safety procedures High level of honesty and integrity Must be 18 years or older Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process Must pass the drug test as part of the selection process Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. (Preferred) - High School Diploma or GED What you'll get: Competitive base salary + bonus (profit sharing) Paid vacation, holidays, sick days, and personal business days Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability) 401k + company match; 8% matched up to 4% Tuition reimbursement Paid parental leave Opportunity for growth Who are we? Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
