Job Description
360 Yield Center is a leader in agriculture technology, dedicated to revolutionizing solutions for farmers. Our innovative systems enhance crop yields while promoting sustainable practices. The Shipping Associate is an integral part of the supply chain process, responsible for ensuring that products are prepared, packaged, and dispatched efficiently to meet customer expectations. Role and Responsibilities Prepare shipping documents and process customer shipments in our ERP system Assist in fulfilling customer orders and auditing outbound shipments Safely operating hand tools and small power tools Ensure all shipments are properly packaged and secured for transport before leaving the warehouse Process and file internal copies of shipping documents Operate a forklift to load and unload deliver trucks and move inventory in the warehouse Process inbound materials to record receipt of goods, verify quantities and move items to warehouse storage locations following internal procedures Maintain adequate inventory of packaging and shipping supplies Maintain a clean and organized work environment Support the customer service department with delivery dates and tracking information on orders as needed Collaborate well with team members to meet shipment deadlines Communicate with carriers to schedule daily pickups and expedite shipments Assist customers arriving in the shipping department for warehouse pickups Help in other departments as needed Qualifications and Education High school diploma or equivalent required Intermediate computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) Strong attention to details Able to operate a forklift with employer provided training Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with others Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods of time Regularly bend and pack items into crates for storage and shipping Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds from the floor Able to regularly apply up to 40-foot pounds of torque with hand tools Push, pull and position objects with surface friction up to 100 lbs Push or pull items with wheeled carts up to 500 lbs Ability to work on elevated surfaces such as ladders and platforms This position requires physical activity including standing and walking for extended periods of time with regular lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and other repetitive motions related to assembly work. Some tasks require working on elevated surfaces while following all safety protocols and frequently working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Pay:
