Job Description

Shipping Clerk Shift/Hours:
Monday•Friday, 7:00am•3:30pm
Pay Rate:
$18•20/hr

Santa Fe, TX Experience:
6+ months of recent experience We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our client's team in Santa Fe, Texas. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for the seamless transition of finished goods from our facility to the customer. This role requires a blend of technical ERP management, physical coordination, and professional communication to ensure every shipment arrives on time and with the correct documentation.
Key Responsibilities Logistics Coordination:
Schedule and manage outbound shipments using various carrier websites (LTL, Flatbed, and small parcel).
ERP Data Entry:
Update and maintain shipping records within Global Shop to ensure real-time inventory and order accuracy.
Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare, verify, and scan Bills of Lading (BOLs) , packing lists, and commercial invoices. Accuracy is vital to prevent transit delays.
Customer Support:
Monitor a shipping email inbox to provide customers with professional updates on shipment status, tracking numbers, and ETAs.
Safety & Handling:
Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure outbound shipments are properly crated/secured and that all markings align with the shipping paperwork.
Qualifications Software Skills:
Proficiency in Global Shop (ERP) is highly preferred. Must be adept at navigating carrier portals (UPS, FedEx, and freight-specific sites).
Communication:
Strong email etiquette and the ability to provide clear, concise updates to both internal teams and external customers.
Industry Knowledge:
Previous experience in shipping/receiving for a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferably within the oil and gas or valve industry) is a plus.
Detail Oriented:
High level of accuracy in scanning documents and verifying part numbers/quantities.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to navigate a warehouse environment, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits of working with
