Shipping Clerk

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of shipments, managing inventory movement, and supporting seamless order fulfillment. Responsibilities Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper handling using packaging materials and techniques Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move stock safely within the warehouse Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and verify order details Assist with order picking and packing activities to meet daily shipping targets in a timely manner Load and unload trucks efficiently, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring proper placement of goods on pallets or shelves Conduct regular stock stocking, inventory counts, and cycle counts using AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Support shipping & receiving functions by inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality control Experience Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes is preferred Hands-on experience with forklift operation, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is highly desirable Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRPs is a plus Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with order fulfillment best practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards in warehousing operations This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in logistics.
